I am a lifelong Alaskan raised in Seward, Alaska. I attended elementary school in Seward then, after moving to Anchorage in 1990, I went on to attend junior high at Wendler Junior High and high school at East High School. After high school, I attended college at UAA and later Blue Ridge Community College in Virginia. I began my career in the legal field approximately 20 years ago by accepting a position with the Anchorage District Attorneys Office in the Drug and Alcohol unit. From there I moved on to the private sector assisting attorneys in multiple fields such as criminal, construction, contract, family, collection, and personal injury law.
My family and I have a cabin in interior Alaska where we spend a lot of our free time. My hobbies include camping, hunting, fishing, boating, snow machining, four wheeling, mud bogging, riding watercraft, hiking, and spending quality time with family and dear friends.
Being born and raised in Alaska I have developed a deep respect for the Alaskan way of life. I love this state, and nothing makes me happier than being able to assist its residents in their time of need. It is the goal of this firm to provide our clients with the information they need to make informed decisions about their case and to take away any mystery, apprehension, or anxiety about the claims and/or court process.
I am a Paralegal at the Law Office of Jason Skala.
