Anchorage, AK – Woman Run Over by SUV on Mountain View Dr
At approximately 8:40 a.m.on Monday, October 19, officers from the Anchorage Police Department responded to the scene of a car accident near Davis Park in the 5800 block of Mountain View Drive.
Initial reports state that an adult female and adult male were involved in an argument in the parking lot of Davis Park when the man got in his vehicle, an SUV. The woman attempted to get into the SUV too before it pulled out but instead, she fell. She was run over by the SUV which was towing a trailer at the time of the incident. The driver of the SUV then fled the scene without calling for help or stopping to render aid to the injured woman.
The woman was transported via ambulance to a local hospital. Emergency medical personnel at the scene listed her condition as critical.
This accident is currently under investigation.
