Anchorage, AL - Jenneen Leopold Killed in Accident on Wright St Anchorage, AL (October 29, 2020) - On Saturday, October 24th at about 9:05 p.m., local law enforcement officers reported to the intersection of Wright Street and East Tudor Road after receiving reports of a pedestrian being struck by a car. Initial reports state that the driver of an SUV was heading westbound along East Tudor Road near the intersection of Wright Street when she struck a woman attempting to cross the road in the direction of Holiday Station, outside of a crosswalk. Medics with the Anchorage Fire Department and Officials with the Patrol Division were both dispatched to the crash site. The pedestrian, who has since been identified as 26-year-old Jenneen A.J. Leopold, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed at the scene of the accident and has fully cooperated with authorities. No charges have been filed at this time. Investigators from the Traffic Unit are investigating the cause of this accident. We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim, Ms. Jenneen A.J.
